ASIAN STUDENTS INTER-T.V. AUDITORIUM CHANNEL INSTITUTE
(ASIA CHANNEL)
Why we are
A.S.I.A. Channel is about building bridges across cultures.
The format is basic - you produce the work, we host the content online, and the world logs into you.
Through this simple, expressive exercise, we learn more about the inner selves and our own humanity. Emerging technology, such as the borderless medium of the Internet, allows us to tap into one another's creative assets, and better appreciate one another.
An interactive platform to promote goodwill and understanding - A.S.I.A. Channel benefits when you gain from the experience.
On and off
In addition to an online community, we believe you would like to connect within a more physical environment. From time to time, we organize talks, symposiums and exhibitions to encourage intercultural exchanges. We invite speakers and participants from academia, media, industry and the street to stir it up, and churn out significant topical findings.
Other than that, we've also made our presence known on television, having produced a series of ASIA Channel Shows for Hong Kong and Japanese television. Hopefully our latest effort would see us reaching more audience from around the world.
It is this integrated blend of communications which keeps A.S.I.A. Channel on the forefront of humanity studies.
Who we are
ASIA Channel is a non-profit educational institute established in 1996 in Hong Kong to promote education and friendship among students and artists in the region by introducing their creative works through the internet, satellite, television broadcast and/or other means of communication. The staff welcomes any comments or suggestions from you!
